Otto Schade

I went along to the Urban Schade show of Otto Schade street art at the B.O.G. in greenwich Friday night.  His work is a lot more detailed than I had thought.  What looks like a plain black background  is actually a area of black on black type or imagery. 

Photographing this is not easy so you need to go and see it. The show is on until the 5th February 2012 where you can also find two print racks containing work of many artists at good prices.

The show soon filled up with a mix of new faces and good friends.

 

Future Art Show

This February I will have some work in a new show at the Ben Oakley Gallery in Greenwich London.  I'm not going to tell you too much about it but if you watch the video there is a small clue.  The video was filmed a few years ago when I was part of a pop up gallery for Christmas.  We were promoting the gallery by giving away original art but we were informed that we were destroying private property with drawing pins.

Before Christmas I got this envelope from a man in a pub.  I knew it had work by Aprovocateur inside so I made a little film as I love his work.   

A Happy New Year

This is a very large painting I am working on called Guardian Angel.  I thought I would show it to you for this New Year's post as I'm wishing for a good year with not too many crazy things happening.

Over the Holiday season I did get some time just to enjoy home.  One member of the family that aways knows all the best places to doze is Gita the cat.
